
As a member of the New England Appraisers Association, Debbie acts as a consultant in the appraisal, sale and/or liquidation of personal estates. In addition, Jim and Debbie frequently participate in appraisal events hosted by local groups and libraries, giving advice on values, preservation and liquidation of antiques.
Currently a DAR Museum Corresponding Docent, Debbie has also served as a docent at the Graue Mill Museum in Oak Brook, Illinois, educating visitors and school groups in spinning and weaving techniques, using antique wheels and looms, working with wool and flax.
As a Board of Directors Member of the Friends of the Wisconsin Historical Society, Debbie is the co-chairman of the April, 2010 antiques auction, "Wisconsin - Our Flag's 30th Star" to be held at Old World Wisconsin. Proceeds will benefit the Wisconsin Historical Foundation. She is also a frequent speaker for the Friends of the Wisconsin Historical Society "Speaker's Road Show."
Debbie is also past President and current Vice-President of Collectors Unlimited of Barrington, (Illinois). As a member of Kishwaukee Trail Chapter, National Society, Daughter's of the American Revolution, she serves as Honorary Regent, Recording Secretary, Scholarship Chairman and Historical Preservation Chairman.
